Well, from my title, one can see that my past week was pretty exciting.

Erm.. that's for me.. But my colleagues didn't seem to feel it that way.. Hmm..

Yup. The first exciting thing happened in office. We actually had an event, a "Office Fire Safety" talk. 2 of my colleagues, Jas and Shuang, were part of that committee. When they were first approached to go for a meeting, they didn't actually know what they were in for. It was only during the meeting that they knew that they were nominated to be in the committee, and that was their first planning meeting. Well, I would have went all out for such an event, if nominated, cos Event Management was my second choice to take up as a degree course, after Communications.

Anyway, they chose to be in what they thought to be the easiest sub-committee - Food and Beverage. Well, they were a bit wrong.

So the exciting part began, when we realise that the caterer couldn't get his security clearance done, due to him having some records. And he only had one helper with him, and that's a China guy with no driving license. At that point in time, only Jas, Shuang and I were available, but only be and Jas know how to drive. But, although I had passed my driving more than a year ago, I'm still not steady in my driving as I seldom drive, and I still have my P plate on my dad's car. So Jas took a bus out to the Pass Office, and drove the Class 3 lorry into ALH. Imagine she have not driven a manual car for a long time, and it a LORRY SOMREMORE!! She even scared the wits out of the helper. HAha.

I'm actually quite grateful to the other committee people (guys) who went to help carry the stuffs into the designated place. But we were 1/2 hour off our schedule due to the delay at the Pass Office. All of us helped setup the reception, and the "PING! PING! PIANG! PIANG!" startled the guests who were in the talk. In the meantime, I was enjoying the whole process, but my friends weren't. :P

Ok, so that was over.. Hee..

Next, was the Bishan Zone Friendship Meeting held last Sunday afternoon 4pm at SYC. And on Saturday, I started my day at 8am. I was helping with the painting of the banner on, but I was more of a troublemaker.. HAha.. I kicked several cups of oil paints and spilled them on the news papers, and even stepped onto them! :P And I got so heated up by the sun, that my head was throbbing in pain by night time, and I nearly couldn't move at all. And on Sunday, I was supposed to reach SYC at 10am and prepare for the performance. And Me, Shuhui and Vivien sang SHE's 怎么办, but we thought we did better without audiences.. Hee. :P
