In about 10 minutes time, I'll be on my way to Helen's funeral, and be sending her off. Helen is a colleague of mine. Although we were not in the same section, but she is the first person I know before I joined SIAEC.

Helen is only 52 this year. She had been suffering from cancer since I can't remember when. But I do remember that I had just been back from my MC, i think, and Laytin, my supervisor told me that Helen would be on long leave for treatment. As what Laytin told us, things had been going well for her. She had done her 7th series of treatment, and she had been reacting well to the treatment. we are all expecting her to return for work. But she passed away last Saturday.

Without Helen, I won't be in SIAEC at all. She is the one who told my aunt about the opening of my position now. She is the first person I was introduced to besides my ependiture team. I can still remember how her voice sounds like. I can also remember the time when I pass her the gift from my aunt, who bought it from an overseas trip.

Will be trying to blog down my thoughts after coming back from the crematorium again.
